ART AUCTION “25th Anniversary”

THEME “The Art of Nature”

In celebration of Nehrling Gardens’ 25th Anniversary, we invite artists to submit work inspired by the beauty and wonder of the natural world. We are seeking a curated selection of artwork that honors nature, animals, plein air, florals, and landscapes in all mediums. Both representational and abstract interpretations will be considered, including impressionist works, photography, and sculpture. Let your art reflect the vibrant connection between creativity and conservation.

Due to limited space at this year’s exclusive venue, artists are asked to submit only their strongest pieces in alignment with the theme.

ABOUT THE VENUE & EXHIBIT INFORMATION

Nehrling Gardens is a treasured non-profit organization located in historic Gotha, near Windermere, Florida. Dedicated to the conservation of native plants and the preservation of natural spaces, it serves as both a sanctuary and an educational hub for the community.

This year marks a special milestone — the 25th Anniversary of Nehrling Gardens — and the annual art fundraiser will be held offsite at Healthy West Orange, a modern venue that allows for an elevated experience. The event will welcome only 120 ticketed guests, with invitations extended to high-level donors and art patrons.

Although artists will not be present at the event due to space limitations, this works in your favor — the intimate, donor-focused setting significantly increases the potential for art sales. Artists retain 50% of sales and are asked to provide a starting bid price and a buy-it-now price for each accepted work. An optional donation of artwork for auction is also welcome, with 100% of proceeds supporting Nehrling Gardens' conservation mission.

Accepted artists pay a one-time $35 participation fee.

EXHIBITION TIMELINE

Submissions close on August 30th at midnight
Artists informed of selections by Sept 2nd
Drop off artwork September 20th- 1-2pm
Art Event September 20th
Pick up unsold artwork on Sept 20th 8-9pm

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Artists can submit up to 5 pieces of art per show for consideration. There is no fee to submit to this show. Artists will be notified via email if their artwork was selected. You will also receive an agreement at this time outlining important dates. Please insure your agreement is signed online on or before the delivery date.

Images MUST be uploaded online together with a complete description.
Please label each image in the following format.
Your Name_Title_Medium_Size_Price 
Example: Jane Smith_Flower_Oil on Canvas_16x20_$300
All works entered for consideration must be original concept and design and must have been completed by the artist making the submission and must be ready to hang (using a wire hanging system).

Upon acceptance there is a $35 participation fee payable to Artscape prior to delivery. This is a one time fee not per artwork accepted but per artist. There is no acceptance fee due for artists donating artwork.

All art exhibitions are open to the public.

All Artwork is for Sale.
Nehrling Gardens receives 50% commission on sales. Artists receive payment for any sold artwork directly from Nehrling Gardens via mail within three weeks following the event.
